ABOUT ME

I write because when I don't my life runs out of gas and I

inevitably end up stuck somewhere and in a bad mood.

My creative nonfiction and fiction has appeared in a

I grew up in New York, went to college in Ohio, and now I live in Northeast Portland, Oregon with my two awesome sons.

Sometimes, I say, "I want to go home" out loud, to no one, even when I am in my house. I'm still not totally sure what that means.

I write to try to find out.
